1. Who we are
Snowboard Guide is an independent online publication covering snowboard equipment, published from Manchester, England. Contact details are on the contact page.
2. What this site is
Snowboard Guide publishes editorial content about snowboard equipment: reviews, buying guides, comparisons and riding advice. Articles are written for general information and are not professional instruction, medical advice, avalanche safety training or mountaineering guidance.
3. Accuracy, and what we do not promise
We take care to be accurate and we date every product record with the point at which its specifications were checked. Even so:
- product specifications, availability and prices change without notice;
- we cannot guarantee that any article is free of error or remains current;
- where an assessment is based on published specifications rather than hands-on testing, the article says so.
Snowboarding is a risk sport. Snowboarding, particularly away from patrolled runs, can cause serious injury or death. Nothing on this site replaces qualified instruction, avalanche training, appropriate equipment and your own judgement about conditions. You ride at your own risk.
4. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission if you buy through them. This is explained fully on the affiliate disclosure page. Commission does not influence our recommendations.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site, or use automated systems to do so, without our written permission;
- republish substantial parts of our content without permission;
- attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security;
- use the site unlawfully, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Reasonable personal use, quotation with attribution and normal search-engine indexing are all fine.

All original text, photography, layout and code on this site are the property of Snowboard Guide or its licensors and are protected by copyright. The Snowboard Guide name and logo are our marks.
You may quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link. You may not reproduce whole articles, or reuse our photography, without written permission.
Third-party product names and brands mentioned on this site remain the property of their owners. Mentioning them is editorial reference, not an endorsement or a claim of any commercial relationship.
7. Comments and submissions
We do not currently host user comments. If you send us a correction or other submission, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use it in our content, and you confirm it is yours to send.
8. Third-party links
We link to external sites, including retailers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snowboard Guide is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the content of this site, including decisions about equipment purchases or riding.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The site is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
